Fresh, Local Sources and Partners

Many of our food choices are based on sustainability and peak nutritional content in the fresh produce and meat available locally.  This requires careful collaboration with local businesses and farmers.

Peak Performance Catering is a Green Business Partner with Sarasota County.  Chef Alyson has developed further partnerships with local hotels and venues in and around Sarasota and Manatee counties to allow for convenient and hassle-free delivery to any location the teams require. All the necessary equipment, and eco-friendly cutlery and paper goods are provided for a convenient dining experience.

“I don’t use nitrates or preservatives,” says Chef Alyson Zildjian. “I use healthy fats and balance the good carbs from veggies. This, in turn, enables athletes to achieve peak performance.”

Chef Alyson creates healthy and delicious meals, choosing options without nitrates or preservatives, eliminating unnecessary chemical intake.

Contrary to the negative connotation associated with fat, there are healthy fats too, including avocados and nuts. Much like fats, carbs are not always bad for you either. Vegetables serve as a healthy way to take in carbohydrates and can be served grilled, baked, or raw. As a whole, consuming fats, carbs, and proteins are the key to balancing a healthy diet.

Utilizing her nutritional research on behalf of the teams she works with, Chef Alyson designs specialized diets with the right amount of fat, carbohydrates, and protein. Peak Performance Catering provides nitrate-free meats and preservative-free meals to all its clients, also accommodating gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
